Let’s get tropical! You can expect big tropical notes from the array of hops and the addition of phantasm. Phantasm is freeze dried grapes skins that hold a ton of thiol precursor. Thiols are highly active aroma compounds that are responsible for intense tropical fruit flavour. This IPA is also fermented with Thiol-Libre, a yeast strain from our friends at Escarpment Labs, that will add and produce more of that tropical fruit flavour, not to mention the hops that we dry-hopped this beer with are also rich in thiols, so we are definitely getting tropical alright.
